The Braves split a double header last night with the Nats. Shame they lost on a wild pitch. Chipper left the game with a stomach virus. Hopefully nothing serious comes of that. Tonite they play the Nationals as John Smoltz pitches off against Tony Armas.

Armas will be tough. I think he is a VERY underrated pitcher and he should get a nice deal for next year

I didn't think the Braves would have a shot at the division this year, with all the talent Florida has gathered. But it seems as if they just might pull it off again. They have a very solid starting rotation, a surprisingly good offense, a serviceable bullpen, and a young athletic all-around ballclub. I think they'll take first place this year.

I didn't think they had a chance either with the Marlins. But guys like Juan Pierre, Mike Lowell, and a few other are playing well below their abilities this season. I think the Phillies might make a run at the division title.

Great win last night. I'm really pushing for Andruw to get to 50. I'm upset with the Pen though but Davies will be a great edition to it. Tonite they go against the Reds. Eric Milton is on the mound ;D. Hudson is pitching for the Braves so it should be a fairly easy win.

A little dissapointed with Tim Hudson's start but a win none the less. Chipper is tearing it up now and making a great finish to another dissapointing season for him

A great win tonite. Sosa continues to dazzle and Francoeur hit another homerun. Braves have Ramierez on the hill tomorrow and the Reds will counted that with Ramon Ortiz. Braves should complete the sweep tomorrow.

Yeah I think their bullpen is in need of an arm like Davies'. That's a smart move. And I do think that Andruw has a very good shot at 50, and I hope he gets it.

That was not wanted nor needed Majenson.
Braves see a familier face they like seeing in Tom Glavine tonite. He is 1-8 career against his former team.

Don't underrate him...there was a time where his changeup was better than Pedro's

Well maybe when Pedro was in the minors but since Pedro has been around Glavines hasn't been close.
