I don't think Jorge, Bellhorn, or Sheffield will be gone, because they have guaranteed contracts for next year, and the first two aren't very tradeable. I can see the Yankees keeping Bellhorn as a utility infielder and switch-hitting backup. The Yankees can possibly bring back Bernie as an occasional DH/backup outfielder, but Tino is probably gone. Leiter and Brown will also be gone, and possibly even Felix Rodriguez, Tom Gordon, and Ruben Sierra. Pavano might be dangled as trade bait, though.

Oh I don't think Lawton will ever replace Sheffield LOL. But true, Sheffield can't be traded. He's been a consistent offensive threat in the middle of the lineup ever since he came here, and not too many guys play with as much heart as he does. I wanna see Sheff stay.

The only person that I think will be ditched will be Bellhorn. None of the others, they've been too constant for NY.

We really won't have too much use for Bellhorn, since Cano will most likely be our starting 2B next year, but I don't think his contract will expire after this season. So if that was the case, we'd either have to trade him or get what we can from him as a backup infielder, and even the second scenario wouldn't be terrible.
