Today Twins are going for the sweep in KC. Any1 still think the Twins can make the playoffs or is that just me?

I don't think so. If they do, then they have to rely on winning the wild card, because the White Sox have more or less won the division already.

But they're not good enough to make a run and win the WC. They don't have enough talent

No Twins 2005 season is done. The loss of Hunter just spelled the end of it. They do have a good looking team for 2006 but as do the Indians(who are running at the chsox)

Horrible! 13 hits and we couldn't get 1 run?!?! We got Morneau,Mauer, and Jones, and we got horrible offense! Atleast we got pitching! Only 1 run aloud.

The Twins fans need to pray that they get Soriano from Texas in the offseason. With Soriano in the middle of the lineup, Minny would be too good

I really don't think that the Twins offense is as bad as some people make it sound. They have Stewart, Hunter when healthy, Mauer, Morneau, Ford, and Jones. The front of their starting rotation is lethal, while the back end has also been pretty solid this year. And they have a young stud pitcher named Liriano who should eventually have a great career. Their bullpen is definitely among the best in baseball, with four shutdown relief arms. It's a very good young all-around team, and there's a good chance that they'll contend for the division crown in 2006.

I am so excited to see how Francisco Liriano does in the season! He made he debut in mondays loss to the rangers giving up 1 HR and getting 2 K's! (pretty nice debut) Any else as excited as i am?
